the thread about LR pros & cons?
Why are we reading about other systems?
Ummm, no.And just from reading this thread, the LR requires a bit more than what you described.
Nobody is forcing you to do anything, lol. You like the MS, so make your MS pro/con thread and you can argue there...or you can get the Lab and drink the orange Kool aid.![]()
Read the OP. He ordered a Labradar.Yer happy. I'm happy. We're all happy.
OP asked for pros / cons. One "con" is other systems that are marginally better at certain aspects of the task. I'm trying to supply that info. If U think nothing is better anywhere, the OP would want to know that also.

I cant think of any scenario that a magnetospeed is better than a labradar. I do own them both so i can really give an opinion
So, how is this used? Unit still has to be setup and aimed?
Read the OP title again. Let me help “And yet *still* asked for pros and cons. Besides...other ppl who haven't bought yet are reading this thread.

You win the cost but its sure not easier and ive never even had a portable bench it didnt fit on- if i did i would mount it on a simple tripod
Yet more money. I'm not made of money.
My MS is far easier to use that what I've read by owners in this thread alone. See my pic above. (1) Clamp it on - in my case to the chassis, not the barrel. Not an option for pure BR guns, but I don't "do" them. (2) Turn it on. (3) Shoot away. No set up. No bluetooth-ing. No lost comms. FAR better battery life, etc.
I'll leave you to have the ease of use / intuitive / learning curve discussion with other owners who have spoken to the issue.![]()
A MS isn't a bad chronograph, but outside of mounting it in specific use case scenarios (such as a chassis rifle with an external mount), their downsides far outweigh an LR.
