I bought one, it is claimed to be the slickest/fastest they have. The firing pin shoe drags against the action. Finally I lapped the entire action. It is much better. Model M.

I have an HR-PIC and have yet to find a Con.

Terry if anything on a BAT was dragging or needed lapping, I would have sent it back next day. Just curious, how did you lap the melonite? As hard as it is can you cut through it or polish it?
