Time to get out of Dodge!

The Californians are invading so many states out west, be careful, I live in Az and we need a wall between cali and az. Spend summers in Wyoming and the Californians are swarming there, Idaho and Montana the same.

Reports from Florida are the CA disease is moving there too. NY, NJ and MD have already infested my state of DE.

I was just down in Chile. I was talking to my guide about land prices because it was gorgeous and empty. He said you could buy a 5000 x5000 meter block of land for about $35,000 American dollars.:)

6178 acres. Sounds good and I hear you BUT the gotcha for us old farts is "How's the health care"?

Notice to all you youngsters out there: Move while you can. Don't wait until you have kids, in-laws and grandkids because after those things transpire, a move will be much more difficult.

It amazes me that all these Californians are moving out of their state to escape the madness and imposing the same stupid thinking in their new states. What the heck is that all about? Do they honestly think they are going to get different results doing the same thing?

As for the OP, have you looked at Land of America. They cover a wide area and many of the properties they list seem as thought they would fit your criteria.

HP
That is 1.25 acres not 6100

$35000 per acre is pretty steep unless it has beach frontage

Check your math. 5kx5k is 25,000,000 square meters.

Papa Charlie, that's that "new" math being taught in schools. You have to use a calculator. :p:D I know, it's early in the morning. :)

Side note, land is sold in hectares, not acres, in Brazil, metric system.
5kx5k meters is 2500 hectares.

I was in a town below Santiago, called Pointe Monte. They had a hospital. All this land was within an hour’s drive of the town. The town was pretty “backward”, for sure. Hence the cost of land. It looked like here, 100 years ago. What I really liked was that they have no Welfare or health care system. If you don’t work, the government isn’t going to bail you out by getting someone else to pay for you. As it was explained to me: If an immigrant comes into the country and can’t find a job to support himself, he gets the boot. Families work hard and take care of their own. There’s no free lunch. Kinda like America 100 years ago.;)

I know that Montana and Idaho are being run over by liberals, Montana is mostly a blue state already. Both states have pretty high income taxes, higher than Colorado. Wyoming has no state income tax, and other taxes I believe are relatively low.
Colorado has way too many people, many of those people are lefty anti-gun, anti-self sufficiency, everyone wants a handout, pot farms all over the place, lots of bitter people that want everyone to be just as bitter and unhappy as themselves.
The hunting has to gone to hell, the elk population is in the toilet, the deer population in my area has been down since the late 90's. Hunting pressure is massive and it is nearly impossible to get far enough from the truck to hunt without seeing other people.
I have 2 more years of working and I should be able to drop back to a part time job. Once I sell this house, I can get a lot more for my dollar somewhere else, especially if that somewhere else is a long way from a town.
This area of Colorado, Eagle County, has been waging a war on masculinity for years, anyone who doesn't need help, or public assistance, or sing the left's party line is a target. If you own guns or shoot, you are a target, you are a "gun guy" and that around here is someone who needs to be harassed. Honesty means nothing to local law enforcement, the more off the wall someone's lies about you are, the more they believe it.
And property values are NOT going up, but the tax assessment sure is!

Yup. I was sitting on a drift boat, talking to him. He says”5000x5000 for $35,000” and I assumed feet. Then I asked him “ Feet?” He says “No! Meters!”
That was my Holy Sh#$ moment. If I were a younger man?

Gary: You dropped some zeros. Think about it. Even in feet, that’s almost a mile by almost a mile. Still a deal.

With all its problems and ills I still love living in New York City, crawling home for any of the 6 restaurants on my tree lined block for 1840s Brown Stones. 30 movie theaters within a short walk and all the other local features. PA is only 90 miles away and that is where my next Primary Residence (at least for legal purposes will be). Then pretty much the best of both worlds.

Bob
I'd kill myself before living in NYC. Even when they kidnapped King Kong and when he found out where he was he said to himself, Oh shit I'm in NYC time to grab the blonde bitch and head to the tallest building I can find and let them kill me because it's a jungle out here, (not the kind I'm use to). Poor Kong, I know where your coming from big guy. Also people who admit that they love living in that kind of environment should not be allowed to have a firearm period. They are obviously mentally deranged and should be banned from owning or possessing any firearm.

Now that would make a nice homestead.
Edit 1/10 the land mass of Guam

I've been talking bout escaping Oregon
"California's largest county" and going to Arizona.
Wife wants to move to Guam, being Chamorro she can get a 1 acre land lease for$1.00 a year for 99 years.
Might have to put the motorhome on a boat.
Her family is from south side of island from all the tourism and military bases.

That's just great, until the next Revolution... There is a long tradition of juntas in those countries. Chile is less volatile than some, but still not particularly stable. When the Revolution comes around, the first target will be the Yankee with the "estate". You will be Ted Turner to those people. Either the mob loots and burns you out, or the new "government of the people" nationalizes your property.

i can not agree with you more. the same is happening in South Dakota, they screw up the state they live in then move to a good state and bring there stupid shit ideas with them and ruin that state too.
