if they were actually clean it would not matterI advise my clients to store their rifles muzzle down after cleaning, really helps keep the trigger clean/dry
lots of people store their rifles with a thin film of oil in the bore, gravity is a thingif they were actually clean it would not matter
Tried to order one and would not accept orders from USA???I'll put this here.
Johnny,
I am sending you the presentation of the triggers that we produce now. As you will see, the Br trigger mechanism has remained the same, we have only closed the cases, a modification much appreciated by our shooters. Unfortunately we still don't have dealers in the USA. I know that some shooters from USA take the older model from Canada from : https://store.xtremegunshootingcent...e=product_info&cPath=158_161&products_id=1303
Instead, the new model will be shipped from Australia, where we sell a lot.
Best Regards
Luca

some how i am betting you are not living on a low fixed income...i see no need for a 500 dollar trigger when a 200 works well.......i bought 3 more jewels this week..i'm goodI got to laugh at some of these guys. Their the ones who buy a 5K rifle and put a 2 dollar Tasco scope on it. Spend the GD money and put a real trigger on it because when your on the wrong side of the dirt you can't take that extra 250 bucks with you.
Exactly. Shilens have been used for years on years.Shilen makes a great trigger. Many great Benchrest shooters like Lou Murdica swear by them. I have seen to many people have issues with a BnA. Never have had a single issue with a Shilen
Jewell, to my understanding is still available for repairs. LDSI guess if we pierced a primer and break a Jewell we’re out of luck now too?
I just got an email from them on Friday to send my trigger in for repair, after an inquiry if they were still able to. It's going out Tuesday.Jewell, to my understanding is still available for repairs. LDS
I broke a sear recently, contacted Jewell, they said send it in and it was on its way back 6 days later. Depends whether they have the repair parts or not I guess. Worth a call if you have trouble with one.I guess if we pierced a primer and break a Jewell we’re out of luck now too?
Al, does the L3 use the standard Kelbly trigger hanger? --GregThe Rifle Basix L-3 Target trigger is a 2-6 oz. trigger. It has a wider shoe like a factory Remington. I haven't had any issues with the one I have.
Greg, the one I have is in a standard 700. But since that's the pattern, I can't imagine it wouldn't work. A couple of Timneys I've used in hangers needed the front rounded edges shortened a bit. -AlAl, does the L3 use the standard Kelbly trigger hanger? --Greg
Have a single stage diamond in an AR. Fantastic trigger.TriggerTech might be worth a look. I have a couple of their AR triggers and I'm very happy with them. I'm going to try a Diamond one of these days.
that is not BENCHREST RIFLE...which is the subject of this thread...not ar'sHave a single stage diamond in an AR. Fantastic trigger.
Also, triggertech could probably widen their market if they reduced the pull weight on the diamond from 4oz to 2oz. I've never shot a 2oz trigger 4oz is plenty for me right now.
