with jewell out of business(for the near future), what are BENCHREST shooters using for triggers?

Just to be clear, as I understand it, Jewell is NOT out of business but is searching for a new source for either parts or labor...or both. So, I guess they are out of business but hopefully temporarily rather than long term, which is more how I read their update posted here a few days ago. I need a couple myself so I hope its fixed soon, too.

I don't shoot BR, but I have Jewell and Shilen triggers and like them both. I had picked up a used rifle with an old Shilen that had issues. I sent it back, they had excellent service and replaced the parts for a very reasonable fee, called me when it was done and asked what weight I wanted it set to. Total turnaround was 2 weeks.

Well i think i accedently deleteed my own post. I have this trigger. It's a fantastic trigger that doesn't suffer the same problems the b&a have been noted for.

yes i did sy BENCHREST ONLY...some are skipping that qualifier
In my experience the trigger techs are okay on hunting, fun and maybe prairie dog rifles, I've got a lot of Jewells for bench rest and I like them, one of my friends has several B&As and they are every bit as good as a jewell, different but good. I also have a couple of old Shilens that are pretty good and I've never tried adjusting them. But before I paid 4 or 500$ for a darn trigger I would try a Shilens, I've heard several folks say the new ones are good, my 2 cents worth, John

The best thing you can do to make a B&A better is to go inside the trigger and buff the contact points just like Alex Wheeler pointed out years ago. About a half hours work. I've done all 31 that I own and not a problem since and I've had a few that had issues prior to me working on them.
