Why doesn’t Lapua make PPC brass?

I’m back in uniform again. A Sheriff’s Deputy friend of mine contacted me while Steve Satern and I were down in Ft. Bliss doing an SDM/Advanced Marksmanship course with Dan Peters (formerly with USAMU). He said a position here in our school district had opened up, and asked me to apply for it. I did, and am now a School Protective Officer (SPO). My original background was both military and LEO, so I guess this brings me full circle and back to my roots. I’m finding it to be both oddly satisfying and truly rewarding. The district takes the position seriously, and we’ve been given good equipment, training and support to do the job. So yeah, I’m getting to be a sheepdog once again.

Incidentally, this is the first time in something over 20+ years that I find myself really looking forward to the SHOT Show in Las Vegas; because I won’t be there!

Kevin Sir, - My personal Thanks go out to you for what you've done and I realize that our interaction was only a small part of what you did on a daily basis for many others and your previous organization that you provided services for. - Your knowledge is a valuable asset and I hope that you continue to frequent the forum. - I'm still waiting for the Lapua 300 Norma brass to make it to the wholesalers which I'm sure in the near future it will.
- All The Best in Your New Position, as a Military Veteran, LEO officer and First Responder I hold what your doing in very high regard !

220 Beggs

Gene----My experience with the Beggs rounds is limited to the 220 Beggs outside the competitive
world.

My 220 Beggs will shoot just about any reasonable load with 52 gr bullets-----reminds me of what
is often said abut the 222. The 220 Beggs is just easy and fun to shoot.

I've talked to some guys who use the Beggs rounds in UBR and for varminters with 40 gr bullets.
They echo pretty much what's been said about the rounds being easy and fun to shoot.

I suspect you'll generally find it difficult to impossible to sway serious short range BR competitors
away from the 6 PPC but I can't say enough good things about the 220 Beggs as a fun gun.

I have another one being put together in a varmint stock. I'll enjoy this one also.
