Stupid question time. Does it take the same bushing as any of the other mfgs, or is Wilson's bushing design unique? Just curious.I sell the LE Wilson 6br and you use a 249 bushing with Lapua brass.

+1 for Forster.I use Forster FL honed to .245. I turn all my necks and this gives the best runout period.
Genuine question here. What is it about the honed Forster dies that eliminates the donut where a bushing die wouldn't?+1 for Forster.
I prefer Forster Honed Dies to bushing dies and as a result no donuts on the neck
Bushing dies don't actually size all the way down to the shoulder junction they just size the part of the neck that fits into the bushing. Frequently there's a bulge under the bushing that doesn't get sized.Genuine question here. What is it about the honed Forster dies that eliminates the donut where a bushing die wouldn't?
Best description I have seen on how a bushing works. Thank you!Bushing dies don't actually size all the way down to the shoulder junction they just size the part of the neck that fits into the bushing. Frequently there's a bulge under the bushing that doesn't get sized.
With the honed die, your neck is sized to a value you specify allowing you to manage the neck tension without an extra step
