Ahh yes, the XC should have given it away. You're not going to hear me trash talk that man. He's had a significant impact on shooting world, and I'm grateful for it.
So then the question becomes will his bushings fit any other brand of dies?
Instead of making or modifying a die, a fella could make the bushing taller and put a 30 or 40 deg chamfer on one side. Then again, it would be cheaper to just modify the die body... I just can't believe thatnoneALL of the other bushings aren't already made this way.....
Everything except that silly bipodThat is a Tubb die brother.
Yah it's funny people talk a lot of crap about David, but he's done a lot of stuff that no one else did.
Everything except that silly bipod
Neil Jones has been making his dies and bushings that way for decades. It would seem the mod should be made to the bushing not the die. Maybe remove some of the shoulder so the bushing can go lower in the die.
It seems pretty crazy no one has ever addressed this mod over the years.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the shelf inside the die would have to be lower to use a shoulder bump die.
I was talking about relieving the shelf on the bushing to let it go lower.
I was just looking for a new different type of bipod and did not know about TubbsThe Tubb bipod is next level.
I'm quite sure you've never actually used one if you would say something like that.
Actually I have shot off of it, it doesn’t suck but there’s definitely better options. The Tubb bipod is next level.

(Was considering a Tier One Bipod)
Love Tubbs Bullets
So it looks like:
--- by turning the bipod assymetrically,
---you can splay the legs further out
---for more stability?
