Unfortunately we don't get VV powder here in Australia .I use VV N 110 29.2 grs. with the Speer 300.
Because only 26 000 000 people and only about 5% shoot there all wimps that think the government knows what's best for them so a small market all we get is vv rifle we used to get small amounts of reloader series haven't seen win powder for 15 od years no loss there with temp coefficient but we do get all the hodgdon temp stable I think you call them as we make them here you know them as H4227 H4198 H322 bench mark bench mark 8208 and the same in imr 4895 varget H4350 H4831SC h1000 retumbo and H50BMG but the disgusting thing is our mongrel government sold our powder production plant to the bloody French of all people may aswell sold it to a bunch on muzzys.Deadidaren are you guys communist down there? Don't get VV powders why not?
40 rds of 6BRA at 600 yds, shooting steelI was not sure where to ask this. Today I got out and shot only powder and ball revolvers (percussion).
The Targets were:
Cardboard animals
Plastic pop bottles (two liters)
Aluminum soft-drink/beer cans (all empty from the recycling bin b.t.w.)
Dixie brand paper plates glued to two by four posts with bullseye rings drawn on with a sharpie
Target distances were 5, 10, 15 yards away so in my estimation safe given the materials
All firearms were reproductions only, no originals
