VV Powders

I can get the VV powders locally. Why does it cost so much more than other powders. Is it less tempermental than other powders per lot....burn any cleaner...just curious.

Divide the number of grains you use in a case...say 30....by 7000. Multiply that by the cost per pound and you will find that per case it doesn't cost much more. $25 per pound vs $35 per pound yields about a 4 cent difference per round with a 30 grain load.

Considering VV is often the most accurate powder and from my experience burns cleaner, that 4 cent difference is well worth the money.
