Vudoo V22S SS BR/F Class Action

Mike will these FF triggers that are being sold with the action be the 2.0 version where it is sealed unlike the first gen FF triggers?

Yes, the triggers are a direct collaboration, as in, I provided SolidWorks files for the Vudoo part of it. They are what you'd consider the 2.0 version of the FF trigger as it pertains to the FF part of the trigger.

Is the Bix trigger the only one that is two stage?

Yessir, as far as the higher quality offerings that fit the pinned interface. I've put a few 5018s in a Vudoo and they're awesome, but not something I want to do a lot of. I'm thinking about doing a two stage, but not quite there yet.

A little more to do and it's out for CVD and PVD:

Will it accept Trigger Tech Diamond 4 oz? (rather than the Flavio)

Already got the Trigger Tech. Is it better you install it, or can I do it? (I've installed many Rem 700 triggers)

Yessir, but the TT will require components from the prior version of fire control. The V-22S has a completely new fire control that was designed with the Vudoo/Flavio as part of the system.

I'm guessing you'd recommend sending the TT back and going with the Flavio..... (I can do that, not a problem...)

Thing is, I don't want a super light trigger. 4oz seems about right. I've had a Jewell 2 oz and really didn't like it.

If you'd rather be above 2 oz, the current Vudoo/Flavio may not be what you want. The V/F is adjustable from .7 to 2.8 oz and I may be doing a V/F with a heavier range later on.

Will I be "hurting" myself with the old fire control parts and TT ? I really like a flat face trigger.

Not necessarily but you won't be able to benefit frm features in the new system that serve to eliminate some archaic Remington DNA that's been considered less than optimal.

I guess my decision would be driven by what exactly I'd be "losing." 6 o'clock firing pin / curved firing pin, etc ???? Other?

This is gonna be an F-class gun (front rest, rear bag) , not a pure BR.

If you'd rather discuss via IM now, or when you call my number off the "pre-order" list I'm already on, that's cool.

You'll still have the 6 o'clock firing pin with the crescent strike but you'll have that two axis movement of the firing pin because of the angled sear in the TT and other triggers.
