Only speaking for myself you understand. I use fine paver sand in my front, filled 95% ishWhat kind of fill should we use in front and rear bags?
Bouncing on the hardnessReally???
I've never heard of this? What could possibly be the reason?
Joe
Its for brick sidewalks. Most places carry play sand at a minimum and it works wellIs fine paver sand what you find at the hardware store?
Yes,
The rifle has been shooting small, something changed. Saturday shooting good, Tuesday, not so much. Temperature Saturday was 42*F, Tuesday it was 38*F. View attachment 1147250CW
Both bolts are completeWhen you change bolts, are the different bolts complete or do you swap the firing pin assy from bolt to bolt? -Al
Both bolts are complete. CW
Mag bolt in the rifle, firing pin falls .235”, out of the rifle .257”. firing pin protrusion out of the rifle is .058”.Decock the bolts and measure the firing pin protrusion on each. Then, repeat the process with the bolt(s) in the action, pull the trigger and compare to your previous measurements. -Al

Just did that,Can you check the pin protrusion with the bolt(s) in the action? You can use a metal straight edge across the action face for the dial caliper to rest on. -Al
Just finished taking the trigger apart, it was quite clean. It does seem slow, fwiw. It's winter time and cold weather will gel old lubes etc and slow the trigger and firing pin down..sometimes much worse than yours.
IMO, it's certainly worth cleaning, thoroughly, both the trigger and inside of the bolt. I'd soak in acetone, spray out with brake cleaner, blow dry, repeat, then douse in lighter fluid. Even better, disassemble the trigger and do same. When was the fp spring changed last? I change mine at minimum, every two years.
