Howdy !

Here’s my rifle, chambered in my “ DEEP 6 “ wildcat. The chamber is cut by running a 6mm Remington reamer in “ short “, to accept a case w/ .466”base diam.
I form my wildcat DEEP 6 cases on 7 X 64 Brenneke parent case.

I use the combo for both Anti-groundhog & target work.

Wichita WBR1375, Jewel 2oz, Broughton 29” SS 1-8 Palma taper; Sinclair recoil lug.

Homemade “ beam “ stock… extruded aluminum “I” beam oriented as an “ H “.
Floated action, barrel clamp fashioned from doubled-up “ plumbers clamps “,
“ U bolt “ torque plates 1/4-20 carriage bolts and nylon insert lock nuts. Trigger guard hand-formed from a galvanized conduit hanger. 5/4 composite deck board materiel used to fashion fore end, butt stock; and removable cheek rest. Butt stock & fore end attached with RTV filler + drywall screws.

Ken Farrell 20moa base and Farrell 1” rings. 2.5X-boosted T-36.

All-up weight 17+ lb.

This is an older pic of a group that I have re-posted from some years back.
All of my load data and other bragging groups pics were stolen during a move across
4 states.

With regards,

That’s a slick rig, I have read a little on that wildcat before, 6 Remington is a classic in my book.

This rifle is a true classic. Model 70 Winchester in 220Swift. The barrel is a Lilja and the stock is a McMillan marksman. My dad bought it new when he got out of the Navy in 1947. I think this is barrel number 8.
