Waiting on some bullets thats been setting in Florida almost 3 weeks at the P.O

I'm waiting on some bullets that was mailed on 12/28/2020 left the PO in Texas and disappeared.

Guess that by comparison ; I don't have a "Bitch" , yet . I've only been waiting for a shipment of 185 OTM's from Bullet Central for TEN days . When it was only supposed to take five . Only thing I get from USPS is : "Delayed in Transit" ......Well , No shit ! I figured that out already . I could have driven to Fargo and back to Phoenix in four days . Bunch of Maroons . Hope they don't end up like the box I shipped home from Nam with a stereo , camera , and silk dresses for my then wife . Sorry ; "Lost in shipping" . Prove to US you sent a pkg. , and what was in it . How many guys got receipts for stuff they bought in Nam ? It was supposed to be on the same plane I was on , and it got "LOST" . Yeah , right .

Sent out a package Tuesday in South Carolina...it was delivered to Idaho Falls this afternoon. USPS does a fantastic job most of the time.

I have had three USPS high value packages "in Transit" for up to three weeks. FedEx delivered to the same locations in three days.
I do not use UPS due to damages and red tape to collect the ins. Will avoid USPS in the future. Is FedEx the only company that can reliably ship packages?

FINALLY! M.O. arrived today and I notified the buyer. Next a trip to UPS. What delays, perils and diversions await our intrepid package in its travels?

Still waiting on a small flat rate USPS "Priority" box from Reno, which was last seen/scanned on Feb 17 at the origin site according to the "tracking".

The priority of the government seems to be modifying the ATF form 4473 to include "non-binary" as an alternative to "male" and "female", and tracking ethnicity.

I’ve been periodically sending long guns for nearly 30 years through USPS. Somehow, one of the workers locally seems to think I need to fill out a Form 1508.

not for a long gun, yes I’m told.

not an FFL or manufacturer I say, have to I’m told.

claims they need it in case of a audit. Putting bad paper in your system for the auditor to find I say. Have to I’m told.

OK, you want bad paper and won’t perform due diligence to review your own regulations. I’ll be glad to assist... and have several times. Making sure I make the note on the form that I am a non FFL shipping a long gun to a dealer.

I mailed a check in a regular #10 envelope first class from Oklahoma going to Ohio on January 19. It was delivered February 9. I suspect the person receiving the check was thinking I didn't really mail it.

I mailed a USPS money order back in January to Louisville Ky. 200 miles from my house. It took it 9 days to get there....

I have a few horror stories out of the thousands of packages I have sent or received over the years, from honest mistakes to re understanding the saying “going postal”.
Here is one fun fact Ill leave you with:
You are entitled to an address the usps delivers to for free. In my case they do not deliver to my street address so i get a free P.O. Box. If you mail something to my street address it sometimes gets returned to sender. Frustrating because many time it is not clear if something will be sent fed ex or usps. So why on earth would they not deliver to my street address? Because I am to close. 2 blocks away

Ordered a Terrapin X a bit over a month ago from Euro Optic. They sent it right away. After a couple days the tracking stopped updating. After a few weeks of nothing I contacted the post office. The local post master said it was lost and to start a claim. Euro Optic was awesome about it and sent another right away. I got that in just a few days. Fast forward to today, I checked the tracking number.... its MOVING again. Looks like it'll be here next week. IF it shows up I'll contact Euro Optic and arrange to send it back.

I read yesterday that the House was grilling the head of the Post Office. His basic response was, "It was broke when I got here and my only choice going forward was to break it beyond repair, then rebuild it better." Only a bureaucrat can think that makes sense. In the mean time the whole country is imploding, so as Hillary says, "What difference does it make?"

He was a "very large" contributor to Trump, and as a favor, put this piece of work, in charge of an already failing business. He has no and I mean no experience with the postal services.
So much, for being allowed to do favors, getting you buddies jobs working with the gov.
When there's so many qualified people to pick from, some don't even have jobs at the moment.
To make matters worse, only one board of hot-shots, can remove this worthless nobody. Not congress, not the president, can remove him and there are 3 vacancies, opening up on this board, of you know what's.

I just had a package go from the distribution center in Aurora, IL to the distribution center in Chicago, IL to the distribution center in Aurora, IL and from there ?????

No doubt the current Postmaster 'General' should be promptly tried, convicted, and hanged for corruption.

Big government = HUGE problems.

And yet there are those who want it to be even bigger. Thus more costly, less efficient. Insanity. My (low) Priority Mail package mailed from Reno, NV on Feb 16 is still out there, somewhere.

Sent a package last Friday to LRI in Sturgis, SD from WI. Tracking said it would be there tomorrow. Got an update this morning that it was out for delivery. A few hours later the next update confirmed delivery to LRI. Perhaps I got lucky, but I'm well satisfied with a job well done.

Sent a USPS money order regular mail in an envelope from WA State to Ohio on February 16. Seller has not received it yet.

Just got a MO mailed Feb17. I have FedEx packages "pending delivery" all over the country.
