SELLING Urbanrifleman Barrel Testimonials

A little more testing with Sierra 90 gr projectiles in the 223 ISSF chambered barrel from UrbanRifleman.

I am hoping to claim some medals this year using 223. This barrel appears to be ready to accomplish that goal. Now it just up to me to make better wind calls.

I would be interested in knowing the details of your load. What seating depth worked the best?

I’m a little tardy with this post, but last year Brad and I collaborated on a new 6XC prefit for my Gen 1 Ruger Precision Rifle that was originally chambered in 243 Win.

This rifle was a shooter from the factory and I was a little worried a matching it’s original accuracy, but my worries were unfounded. The attached target pics were shot in below freezing conditions (this might not affect the gun, but it sure affects me) with minimal load development. I tried two bullets, one powder, and one primer with no seating depth test. The 600 yard group was shot through the magazine and ran as fast I could get back on target to see how the 6XC round would feed.

If you are considering a prefit barrel for your RPR or any action for that matter, I would recommend giving Brad a call. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice bag riders as well. :)

Bought a 22-250 Savage barrel from Brad (first time buyer, not the last) and built a rifle using the Boyds Varmint Thumbhole stock. Made for a pretty rifle and a great shooter. Client very happy and I was extremely impressed with the workmanship.

I have several Urbanrifleman barrels and they all shot well below 1 MOA at 500 yards.
Best 10 shot group with my 223 ISSF barrel is 2.07" at 500 yards.

The barrels all shoot better than I do....LOL

Just order 2 more for the stable.

I don't think I ever posted this test. Barnes 112 at 20 jump
No load workup. Just picked 38.6 and 39.6 and shot it in my 6xc 8 twist. New Peterson brass from Tubb. CCI 450s.
