Urbanrifleman 223AI build

I wanted another PD rifle. So I ordered a 223AI remington prefit in 223AI from Urbanrifleman and put it on a Mack Bros action (yes they make a 223 bolt- you have ask). B&A dakota trigger, in a spare Magpul stock. I got cases formed and shot it last night. had a spare 4-1/2-14 leupold and sighted in of the hood of my Jeep. Quick and dirty so 10 shots into one group. If you throw away two outliers the other 8 are in .37. This was with a swag at seating depth and 30year old primers. (using up the old stuff forming cases) I think it will shoot.
More fun to put together than an AR.

The 223a barrels have been particularly impressive. Lots and lots of groups sent to me with reports that people were really not expecting this kind of performance.

Yes current bolts fit.

I called Mack Bros and they said there tenon and bolt is 100% Remington compatible. Total drop in for my barrels.

Sadly, they do not have dealer pricing for that action or I would buy 10 of them for my customers.

Yes - the YJ Wrangler was converted to right hand drive for a postal carrier. I love it for road hunting with a camera.

Sure looks to be M16 to me. Be advised they may not yet advertise the 223 bolt. I asked and they said they would make it.
