I replaced the Factory Savage 8 twist with an Urbanrifleman 12 twist and used Brad's recomented
.030 free bore to load with Bart's 68 Gr Avengers.
Some friends and I shoot 200 yards for groups on Monday mornings.
As we are all retired I call us the bench rest geezers.
I am the kid at 73 years old.
The rest of my Savage LRPV is factory but I have add a three inch bag rider to the front.
I use a wedge of wood under the bag with 80 grit paper glued to both sides to get the proper angle match from the rear bag to the LRPV stock.
Dryer sheets in addition to slick Protektor bags front and rear.
With the load shown the rifle will shoot less than 1/2 MOA consistantly at 200 and in the .3s at
100.
Brad is great to deal with and I will be using him in the future.
