I shot these targets with my UrbanRifleman barrel last weekend at the MO State F-Class championship. 223 ISSF with Berger 90VLD.



If I would have made some better wind calls these easily could have been clean.

Good question but 0.042" would not have changed his scores.

During the match, e targets are typically set up to score everyone with a 30 cal hole in the target, irregardless of what you are actually shooting.

You know what? Getting a good review from a customer sharing their success with one of my barrels is one of my favorite things. It really got me singing to Lauren this morning.

I was there Steve was shooting with me and I had just helped him get a new scope dialed in at 100 yards. I put this rifle together for him last year. This was Fiocchi Dynamic 40vmax factory ammo. At this point it had 52 rounds down it.
In between all this, by the end of the day it had been out to 320 yards with a 1.5" 3 shot group on steel.

Standard 22-250, 8 twist and 80.5 Bergers on a Savage action and cheap factory model 10 stock.
Shot a few on paper this morning and then shot some steel out to 500.

It appears that that bullet is the standard bullet to shoot if you want to see how small your 8 or 7 twist will shoot.

Fireforming targets from Pete in Tulsa. Savage Large shank twins. One 20 bra one 22 bra.

20bra with 40bk and Varget.

This thing is going to smoke. Still not close to pressure. And that is just fireforming.

A little more testing with Sierra 90 gr projectiles in the 223 ISSF chambered barrel from UrbanRifleman.



I am hoping to claim some medals this year using 223. This barrel appears to be ready to accomplish that goal. Now it just up to me to make better wind calls.
