Well Nick, you may have some options. I had some barrels spun up for my Kodiak by Bob. I have a brand new 30 br barrel leaning in a corner. I think I also have a new 6br barrel, too. They should fit your Panda. Leave your boltface alone and have some brass rims rebated.
Happy Birthday!!!
Edit: Somewhere in my stash I have a lightly used 6x47 Panda barrel, brass and dies.
Oh my, more options. All of this is very confusing for an old man.

Hehehee! You asked! You won’t have to wait a year, either.
I have a 6br, 30br, 30x47 and a 30HBR for that Kodiak. One of my early switch barrel rigs. Then I started thinking like you. Pulling apart a gun that really shoots is bad juju!
I'm thinking I will stop up to see you Monday or Tuesday if that is OK. I am sorry but my wife can't come as my brother-in-law is staying with us and can't be left alone for that long a period. I also have that little package for you.

Hi

Tuesday better. My favorite lunch place is closed on Monday.

Nick when you posted how well that .223 of your’s shot, I would be tempted to just grab it every time when going to the range.
I had it at the range last week. Hasn't changed one bit. I was shooting 21.8 grs of Varget. this time I substituted Shooters World Precision Rifle 062. Same load and still very small groups. Did not even have to adjust the scope. Same point of aim and impact.

Still, I am looking for a change. There is a challenge when starting a new caliber.

Depends on the rifle, depends on the manufacture or smith. Both calibers are equally accurate, both calibers are excellent. I prefer the 6mm for sure due to less recoil. I have both a 260 and a 6 creed. My favourite is in between with the 25 creed for that size cartridge.

that said if your looking for accurate try a br variant. 6br, 6 dasher, 6 bra etc. Just got myself one after trying lots of different calibers, finally going do the bra. Before even shooting it, I think it may become my favourite. Wicked looking little round, holy efficient!!

Josh I will be there at 9:00 AM on the dot. We can do guns and then lunch. I am so looking forward to seeing you again. There is a lot of construction along 95 so I will have to leave about 7:00. That may put me in your neighborhood a little early but I can stop along the way and get a cup of coffee.
