Thinking of a new build

Josh I will be there at 9:00 AM on the dot. We can do guns and then lunch. I am so looking forward to seeing you again. There is a lot of construction along 95 so I will have to leave about 7:00. That may put me in your neighborhood a little early but I can stop along the way and get a cup of coffee.
Ok! See you when you get here. Don’t rush! 9:30 is fine. So’s 10. I’ve nowhere to be!

Nick, has anyone ask you what you are wanting to do with the new build? What purpose will it serve? Competition? Hunting? Plinking?
This will be just like most of my other rifles. Benchrest target shooting, but not in competition. I do want it to be competitive as are my other rifles. For me the fun is in the tiny groups. That's why I go to the range so often and spend a lot of time reloading.

I could get you a 6xc or 6bra 1-8 twist SS prefit shipped out today, and I have dies in stock. Both will shoot really tiny little bugholes.

6xc Peterson brass from Tubb is 68 cents each, get the small primer, shoots very well and is very tough.

6BRA get Lapua brass. I suggest the 6bra 104 freebore.

If you want to shoot single shot get the 6bra. 6xc if you want to feed it from the magazine. It is that simple...

I can post groups from my prefits if you want.

I still have not made up my mind exactly what I want to do. I do have some options to consider. I would have no problem with one of your barrels as I have seen the feedback on you products.

6bra 104. It's like the easy button.

Heck man get one of each. :)

The more I shoot the 6xc the more I like it. I am converting all my varmint rifles over to 6xc since they will feed from a bone stock magazine well on a 700 with no mods.

The 6xc 160 freebore will shoot 115 DTACS touching the lands from the magazine. The 6cm is too long.

Drink some beers, forget you’re going to the range tomorrow, ask your wife to bring you to academy, buy 5 boxes of 6CM Hornady 108 ELDMs for $150 and then go shoot itty bitty groups. Don’t get any easier than that.

....except you’re $150 poorer! Roll your own and save money!
