Tack Driver 7

I have some more exciting news for the shooting family. There is now going to be a Tack Driver down under in the future. That’s right, Australia is now looking to host a “Tack Driver” match. More news to come from
Michael Thompson I’m sure in the near future on his efforts to make this happen.
We are still full at 180 shooters and 50+ names on the waiting list! I will be sending out an email with some information in the coming months on this year’s event and scheduling. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THE MATCH OF THE YEAR!!

Skunk works at Fujinator Industries has been gathering supplies for a new
Tack Driver build. Going to be the "7.2 Copperhead". Even looked over a
drawing I made some time ago to put fangs on the rifle stock !! It's going
to be a fun build......

I'm looking forward to this. ODCR and Stevens Accuracy are working on a 6 br and 6ppc for me.

300 yards sounded easy........................at first.

Shooting buddy and I started practicing at 300 last month. Coming from 600 and 1000 yds exclusively it was eye opening how "easy" it was not.

I'll confess to feeling a little disappointed at the move from 300m to 300 yds, but I understand the reasoning. My 308 will work just fine at 300yd. I hope!

We are going to have a match down here in sw fl. Just for fun nothing official. Mostly I want the local guys to get some practice on the score targets. Theres a group of manatee guys going to td7 and I will bet even more for td8.
When are you planning to do this Alex? WH

Exciting news coming by email shortly to all registered competitors. I had a great meeting with the executive board at MGGOA Saturday and the range is making some GREAT improvements. They are in the final stages of installing 30 BRAND NEW bench tops and new blocks as well as the berm work has been completed to allow the new target frames to be built in the near future.

I also met with Hampton Inn in Dublin as well and secured a discount code for anyone wanting to stay there for this event.YOU HAVE TO CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY AND GIVE THEM THIS NUMBER 0003348500.
More to come in the email that should be coming out soon. Thanks, JC

In February. Its just a one day fun match but if the guys enjoy it Im sure we will hold more but I have no intentions of it becoming another one of the tack driver matches. We are too close to the original tack driver to hold a spin off. Its just so guys have a way to practice the format. Most of us never shoot score targets so we are rusty.
