Sweets 7.62 isn't cutting it.

If you really want to see something cool, you guys that still use eliminator, swab your barrel with some eliminator and let that stuff sit on the end of your barrel- the blue gunk, or lay that dirty moist patch on a barrel stub and keep an eye on that.
 
I will give it a try. Copper killer is oil based and the BK does a good job. I just like a really snug brush. They never turn blue. As soon as I can notice they are not as snug I trash em. Buy the dozen packs from Brownells. Thanks for the tip.

Or let it get into a trigger. I spent hours trying to get it out of a Jewell. Its makes a varnish that no solvent I have could touch. It had to be scrapped.

I had it in a jewell and i just tossed it. That same gun had it running under the end of the barrel and in the tuner threads. The tuner was locked on there and the barrel was rusted something awful under the goo. I walked straight over and threw mine away. I had seen the goo on mine before but just attributed it to me being lazy and blew it off
