best performance from a bolt gun but it is still fun and a great cartridge, enjoy

Different loads for auto, compared to bolt? Less it's always a good idea to try to go a little bit lighter in your gas gun. There's a lot of moving parts, and you really can beat the hell out of them

I mean in all fairness I was about to do the same also when you call the guy who made your barrel and they give you a suggestion on what to do..... And again like I said , just watching it at First I legit though I was somehow under gassed .Omg
The minute I saw that guy actually increasing the gas port ..
I laughed .
Wtf kinda idiot doesn't realize the pressure already created by a massively over bored round is already needing a superlative arms gas block to decrease and manage it ?
Buy a superlative arms gas block
Don't tell me to do that, already looking at either getting a 6 or .25 Creedmore next , having the dies on hand will just be the final excuse lol.I'm glad i'm glad to see you're enjoying that barrel.I just purchased two of them and built up two coyote rifles
Do yourself a favor and buy a six creedmore sizing die
That way you could use 308 brass, use the six first then the six point five and then the twenty two
And you will not have any issues with your brass
Buy some pure lanolin and a bottle off of amazon and put it in a spray bottle with isopropyl alcohol and shake it up really good. And spray your brass with that. And you will not have any issues
I worked up a starter load, and I was shooting half m o a so those barrels are fully capable
Man I appreciate that ! I grew up reading posts like this just guys posting builds and all there trials and stuff to get it to work. used to LOVE them ! But the sadly gone the way side in recent years ... Everyone wants to be the best expert and never show mistakes or the process anymore... So I just try and post some of what I wish I'd see more lolI have nothing to add other than I am really enjoying your thread and seeing not only the build but the loading and troubleshooting that goes along with a new build. =)
Actually funny enough my 22-250 has been just a friggen dream. No seriously I've purposely been trying to make it fail an it just keep chugging along. I've had more issues with this creed in the first 50rd then I've had in my 250 in close to ...idk 175 so far IDK if I found a unicorn or whatThe twenty 22 250 in an a r ten configuration will always give you problems until you fine tune the mags ..
Due to the differences in case dimension
All of the creedmore, families are based off of the 308 winchester cartridge
Should be smooth sailing with all of those for you
Well here's the deal that's I only ran two round though that metal mag ....well one really before I decided to scrap that idea and it's was a good many of them so it can be from the mag, because well the pmag are polymer so not sure about what's going on there . As far as a can...idk never had a ton of interest in them . I might though but just seem to be one of those deal when you get there's just more dirt, more gassing issues ectTrust me, getting a six creed or a twenty five will do nothing but put smiles on your face.
Those shavings are from those metal magazines. The lips need to be polished
They are hell on brass
Save your $$$ and after the 1st of the year
Buy yourself a can ..
You need one or 6 lol
Nobody should be shooting without them anymore.
Get an AB Warthog in 30 cal..
Or and Aero Lahar L ...
They are priced very nicely, and they are both top notch performers.
