Slow shipping

Anybody else seeing shipping coming to a halt? I bought a Remington 700 trigger from a guy. Sent him the money on March 30 and he sent trigger on April 4. Neither of us have received anything.
Just curious as to whether I wait a while or buy another trigger.

No tracking, we both used USPS envelopes
Wife shipped a box of PPE to our son and tracking says it will be late but it is in transit.
That was 6 days ago

I ordered some decals for a metal detector from here(East coast) and they took 8 days to get here. Then...I ordered some green chile salsa, (a box of 1 lb. jars) from Hatch, NM to Mechanicsville, VA. and it took 4 days to get here!!

I placed a Brownells order Sunday, chose 2 Day. Got tracking today, thru Speedy, and should be here Wed.
But agree, most sporting related suppliers have posted on their web sites that they will ship a few days later than they normally would do to high order volume.

Not here . Just shipped a Flex-pod to a guy in Ky. last Wednesday and they said it would arrive Saturday . He text me Saturday afternoon that it arrived . However ; I ordered a 3-way trimmer from Midway last Tuesday , and it only got shipped on Sunday . Said I'd get it on the 30th . Back-ups are mostly in order processing , and not so much shipping .

Mail order houses have gone ballistic with sales since the shut down. Amazon went up 56 points on the stock market today. It’s amazing our shippers have been able to keep up at all.

Closed up a mere $18 by day's end.

Most of the stuff I've been expecting has arrived pretty much close to normal.

I ordered some brass and bullets from Blue Collar Reloading last friday night about 10 oclock.
Saturday morning at 8:30 i had shipping confirmation and a tracking number. Tracking says
my stuff will be here tomorrow (tuesday) . Blue Collar is on the east coast and i'm on the west coast.
Blue Collar has excellent prices, shipping and customer service. Check em out :)

YES,

Yes! Recently sold two lots of brass. Shipped both by USPS Priority Mail from eastern PA. The one lot going to upstate NY arrived on time two days later. The other, going to a suburb of Detroit, was SIX days late. So, patience is the key.

I've seen 2-3 day increase of delivery times generally and some of that is the retailer getting it out the door...except that Brux barrel last week. Called Ken @ Brux in the morning, he had what I needed other than fluting. He fluted it the next morning, shipped UPS, and I got it the next day! Of course I'm in the same delivery area, about 60 miles away but I was impressed.

I bought #5 of coffee from Sturgis coffee company and they shipped is USPS 4 April. It spent a week in Detroit before going to Cleveland then back west to me arriving on the 20th
priority mail!!

I ordered some sights from a veteran owned company of Tacticon Armament on Monday morning around 3am and received them wed. morning in the mail. They are in Ca. and I'm in Pa. I also have a order coming from another company in Ca. where it has been sitting in the usps office for 12 days awaiting "acceptance pending" this is not acceptable.

Most of my recent deliveries have been a little late, but so far everything has eventually showed up. With everything going on I think it would be a little short sighted to expect business as usual.

My wife ordered me some jeans, Fedex says non essential items will be delayed. I ordered Bullets from Midsouth, but I think the delay is on them not the Shipping Company.

I’ve shipped a bunch of stuff lately with USPS and UPS and the shipping itself seems on par with pre-corona. The businesses themselves however are all over the board. I still have an outstanding Grafs order from April 6th that hasn’t shipped. The website in all fairness says 10 days or longer to process so I’m not complaining about them, just saying it’s a mixed bag on how companies are processing ordered. I know Bruno’s is about the same with how long you can expect an order to take to ship. “Inundated” and “overwhelmed” are the two words I hear over and over.

All that being said, I ordered some reloading items from Europe and literally had them in three days. DHL is amazing.
