Slow shipping

How many here would ship a firearm in these times using the USPS?

I'm not one of the lucky ones.
I purchased a scope from a member here and it was shipped from NY on the 11th, on the 18th in arrived in NJ where it sat until today.
Now all the tracking states is that it's in transit.
Maybe by this weekend but I'm not holding my breath !

Waiting on a rifle shipped on 4-16 and was supposed to be here yesterday. It left Cincinnati and is in transit. I'm sure it will show up, but later than expected.

Ordered a scope from Natchez on 3-31-2020. Forgot to order the rings, so I contacted them and was told the order had already been invoiced. If I wanted the rings, it would be a separate order, so I passed. Here it is 24 days later and no scope. Oh yeah, they didn't waste any time charging my card!

Let me say this Lloyd, as mentioned above I have a rifle that is delayed and I sent a rest top out on the 10th I believe and neither has arrived. I visited with my postmaster yesterday and Kevin said as far as the USPS is concerned a lot of folks have taken off with pay during the "pandemic". They are having real problems. Don't really know your circumstances, but your problem may be similar to mine.

Ok all,
As soon as Natchez opened this morning I gave them a call. The fella on the other end looked up my order and said it was on the truck to be delivered today! The guy said that I was first call of the day and he was able to give me good news. He went on to thank me for not being an A$$hole due these trying times, like some are. So, with the good ending to this story,
I’m asking everybody to take a breath before unloading on some guy that is only responsible for doing a computer lookup.

I finally received my bullets ordered on April 11th today. I honestly wanted to just cancel the order, but I got a good deal on them so I only would have screwed myself and probably ended up waiting just as long for the second order to come in.

Bought some bullets from a member on another forum. He's in Hawaii. I'm in Delaware. Four days from the day he shipped, I got them in the mail. Same deal with a seller in CA. Can't bitch about that. Aside that, there are really some great guys on these forums. Both sent the bullets the same day I sent payment.

On at least 3 different occasions my carrier picked up a package from my mailbox and it was delivered in Hawaii in 2 days.

I ordered some gloss dual dovetail mounts to put a 3.5 to 10 leipold on a Win M70 Featherweight 270wsm on April 10th,,it took 2 weeks fir a shipping label to be printed and I am supposed to get them Saturday..

That's pretty slow from swfa
