Bix & Andy problem

Bought a competition adjustable sear model little over a year ago to use on my Borden action tube gun in 6 Dasher. At the range the trigger failed and discovered a small piece had broken of where movable sear block is attached and jammed the sear. I removed the broken piece and trigger worked and completed my string. Anybody else have this issue? When I had Jim Borden build my action he did not recommend the adjustable model because of this, but already had it and installed on my Remington 700 action.
Sent mail and pix to Roger at Keystone Shooter Supply to see what can be done.

Call the folks at Bullet Central 701-371-4444 they are the importers of the Bix N Andy triggers and should be able to help you out.

Im not even sure they sell the adjustable sear anymore
I hope they do, that adjustable sear just saved my bacon. I installed one on my new F-Class Panda last night. Cycled the bolt GENTLY and "click". Uh-oh, went through adjusting the pull weight thru the entire range with the light spring in it when it suddenly dawned on me to adjust the sear. Got it right and got the weight down where it belongs and flawless again. I've switched over all my rifles to the Bix N Andy. Now the only Jewells I have left are two spares in the oh crap bin of my travel box.

The non-adjustable sear models have been bullet proof. I have seen issues with the adjustable sear model.....just my .02, but I have not sampled a huge number of them.

I spoke with Dave over at Bullet Central and sent photo, also Roger at Keystone Shooter supply. Will see what they can do.

My first B&A is an adjustable sear. When I ordered it, I didn't actually know about the option so I ordered it unknowingly. It's worked fine so far, but I can see where the edges of the slot that contain the sear have deformed a bit so I can easily see how your issue would occur. I'm sure it will happen sooner or later to me unless I swap it out for a new trigger. I'll be interested to hear what Dave has to say.
