Jerry and I partner up and spot for each other from time to time, so I have had a chance to look through his rig. I use the more expensive Leupold spotter. It’s smaller and works great at the range or on a mountain looking for game. When its on a tripod at the range who cares how big it is. If I was looking for a range only scope I would probably go with the Celestron. It has that little sighter scope on top that really makes it fast to get on target quickly, something other scopes don’t have. And...the Celestron is pretty bright too. Just goes to show you don’t have to invest a fortune in an expensive spotting scope for range use.
