Can you see your holes at 300 yards?

I've shot the walk and paste at Manatee. I also shot the one at Tallahassee and there we used white coraplast for backers. Using my .223 I could see all my hits.

its tough and our mirage with a partial overcast light conditon makes t tough. I can say the second relay hurt me as well, but each 9 i hit would have been a 10 if i would have trusted my instict of the mirage and flag condition. Try to not chase your shots that you could see out of the X and trust your rifle and load and match it to the condition change. the end result is no different than a pit delay time and a condition change.if you chase the spotter that can hurt you also. Most of all my shots were not visable too. with my sightron at 50X, and the 2 N/F on each side of me could not see em.

My sighters were always off in no mans land so I could save the little x ring for record shots.

Funny... I do the same thing for smallbore league prone. One shot in the center ruins that sighter bull for anything that comes later. Before starting for record I work my way in from the six-ring....

I having been working on getting the NRA to allow a reverse center for the MR-63 targets, and Dennis Whiting (?), at the NRA brought it up to the rules committee in November, and they turned it down, but he told me that there will be a new committee this year, and he is going to bring it up again. I have talked to American Target company, and they could make the centers with orange, instead of black, and I am going to get with Dennis and talk to him about this. The orange would only be able to be used for club matches for now, but if shooters supported this change, it would help clubs that don't have pits, to have 300 yard Mid-Range matches.
