Dennis passed on this morning. He was a supporter of this site. Lifelong friend, fellow shooter and old school big rig driver back in the day.

Dennis was quick to point out the difference between hunters and shooters and once I started match shooting was genuinely interested and my biggest fan from our rural SD home.

Dennis was a self taught rifle builder who could chamber a barrel then fit it up in a flat top stock. He built some nice rifles for himself and family but anytime I asked him to try something for me he politely declined saying he was just an amateur working on his own stuff.

Great guy will be genuinely missed by many.

I knew Dennis since we were "knee high" so to speak, and always enjoyed our too infrequent visits as we got older and his health started to fail. The rest of his family are friends to me, and I will visit with them today! Russ
