RIP Dennis. I will miss the many posts from you and the PM's we exchanged.

I had a nice long conversation with him when I bought a couple new barrels off him. He had to warm up to me but after a little bit we had a great time talking about social security. He was genuine and didnt mince words. He will be missed by all. Prayers to his family and friends.

I had a very lengthy conversation with him about AMTs and other topics not long ago. Great guy.....

Dennis passed on this morning. He was a supporter of this site. Lifelong friend, fellow shooter and old school big rig driver back in the day.

Dennis was quick to point out the difference between hunters and shooters and once I started match shooting was genuinely interested and my biggest fan from our rural SD home.

Dennis was a self taught rifle builder who could chamber a barrel then fit it up in a flat top stock. He built some nice rifles for himself and family but anytime I asked him to try something for me he politely declined saying he was just an amateur working on his own stuff.

Great guy will be genuinely missed by many.

RIP. Sounds like he had a pretty decent life. Friends, family, who could ask for more.
