So I’m in my first rodeo With Redding Bushing dies. Not going well. I keep getting dents in the shoulder. I’ve spent about an hour and dented about 12 case shoulders. I’ve thoroughly cleaned and dried the die, back it off to no bump, then the moment I adjust to get .002 bump it leaves a dent in the shoulder. I know I’m not overly lubricating the case and I’ve cleaned the damn die about 6 times. I’ve inspected the shoulder of the die and can’t find an imperfection that would cause this.
Fellas, I’m out of ideas here. What am I missing? Have I been unknowingly spoiled all these years using Forster dies? If it matters, the case is 6.5 SAUM and I just ordered a whidden bushing die to replace this POS. Or maybe I’m the POS? Lol
Thanks
