Garmin has a app called Shot View. The app makes the Garmin Zero a complete tool. I use blue tooth to download data to my electronics. You are missing out if you are not using it.
So did I! Thanks!I just deleted my app till this is resolved
Only if you have ever paired the device to a Bluetooth connection and they’re both on at the same time.Hey Fellers, dumbass question here but just take my word for the fact that I know less about computers than Davy Crockett did at the time of his death. I have never had any thing on my cell phone about my little Garmin chronograph, the only time I have location or blue tooth turned on my cell phone is when I'm using my powder thrower which is a#3 afx 120. I have a fiber optic cable that runs the WiFi in my shop . My little chronograph has worked perfectly since it came out of the box a year ago, is there any way that it can "jump on" my phone or computer on it's own..... thanks John
Agree all of the failures of the Garmin should be reported to the Company so an update/fix could be sent out. I plan to leave the bluetooth connection off and deleted the App from my phone until a fix has been issued.Question is, are people reporting the missed shots to Garmin. That's the main reason I upgraded after knowing there was a problem. If you don't report the problem, they may assume it's fine. If this would have happened during product launch, they would only have sold a few.
Probably so. I also deleted the App as well. My Garmin is working fine as is and I do not want an update to ruin that.So just turn off the Bluetooth on my I-phone should take care of it?

This is a great forum too learn from!My Garmin worked beyond belief directly from the box. I have no idea why it would need to be updated?
Someone will say data storage for tracking SD over time, but if the target looks good, who cares?
I don’t want to sound rude or sour and I’m
SURE I sound both, but this is just a case of should leave well enough alone.
Thank you sir! Unless you program the little chronograph itself it can't hunt up a connection on it's own is the way I'm reading this, thank you guys a bunch... JohnOnly if you have ever paired the device to a Bluetooth connection and they’re both on at the same time.
You can also go into your Bluetooth settings and select forget device. So just turn off the Bluetooth on my I-phone should take care of it?
I submitted a trouble ticket yesterday. Hopefully I hear back tomorrow.Agree all of the failures of the Garmin should be reported to the Company so an update/fix could be sent out. I plan to leave the bluetooth connection off and deleted the App from my phone until a fix has been issued.
