Problem With Garmin Xero Update 03/21/25

Mine worked fine on the first relay we shot this morning. When I went to start my second second relay, it wanted to update. I tried to skip it, but it just kept starting over. I went ahead and did the update after which it missed 5 out of 26 and 6 out of 25 shots. I then tried the downrange mode set up next to another unit that was not updated and it missed 3 of 5 shots. Hopefully it gets a new update before next weeks practice day and fixes the problem. By the way mine is on 3.30 now.

This is what the PC app looks like this morning. Think I will not update mine until this has been resolved.

The 3.30 update says it added downrange mode to pro settings. Have you explored that option, that maybe something is looking further downrange and increased chance it could miss a shot?

Maybe turn pro settings off.
Just checked mine and pro down range mode was off by default.

Garmin down range mode under pro settings...is there to provide a visual (unit flashes) that a garmin has detected a shot when placed down range to check/true bc etc.
This mode was off on mine but it flashed as though it detected a shot but didn't update. It was the same on my mates who had also updated to 3.30.

My Pro settings are off. The old version had one problem. When I forgot to start a new session and started testing a new load, I could delete the shots but the SD and ED would not update. That was fixed in 3.30.

I didn’t see this string until today! I had my Garmin update on Friday and started missing shots so badly I ordered a new one off amazon. It worked flawlessly until it forced the update and now it’s doing the same thing!!! Makes Load development really frustrating!!!

Hey Fellers, dumbass question here but just take my word for the fact that I know less about computers than Davy Crockett did at the time of his death. I have never had any thing on my cell phone about my little Garmin chronograph, the only time I have location or blue tooth turned on my cell phone is when I'm using my powder thrower which is a#3 afx 120. I have a fiber optic cable that runs the WiFi in my shop . My little chronograph has worked perfectly since it came out of the box a year ago, is there any way that it can "jump on" my phone or computer on it's own..... thanks John
