and i can guaranty you are WRONG.I guarantee Bruno’s is not paying more than $40-$50 per 1K from the manufacturers for primers. If Bruno wants to mark primers up that much then that dirtbag can let them rot on his shelf and eat the loss as far as I’m concerned. Even when prices go back down, I will not buy from vendors that decided to gouge prices on people in the shooting community. I used to buy from Bruno’s but he has now lost my business for life.
sportsmans is much bigger than brunos, brunos is not big, just specialized.Just got these today from sportsman's warehouse. $48.99. I would think brunos is a large buyer also and i know br-4 were always a tad more, but damn not that much more.
again, likely a long term high volume contract purchase , thus the low out of market price.Just got these today from sportsman's warehouse. $48.99. I would think brunos is a large buyer also and i know br-4 were always a tad more, but damn not that much more.
The shortage and greed bother me a good bit more than the complaining. What bothers me more me than the shortage and prices is all the complaining about those prices. Sure I wish they were lower but I understand we live in a capitalist society in the greatest country in the world.
When I hear terms like “price gouging” it really upsets me
These will last me a couple years I don’t shoot like I used to that’s for sureOnly figure on shooting a couple more years, do ya?
Read the post right above your reply where a member just got 1K primers for under $50. If Lester is paying high prices for his supply then marking them up to $140 per K then he is a fool. But I highly doubt that is the case. Manufacturers give bulk purchase discounts but nothing anywhere near where one big company can sell to make a profit at $50 per K and the small guy is getting charged a price where they have to sell at $140 per K to make a profit. Think about it, that’s insanity.and i can guaranty you are WRONG.
LIKE I SAID TO THE LAST PERSON THAT BAD MOUTHED BRUNOS...call and talk to lester.
i get no kick back...but i do see him all the time and i do buy SOME of my stuff from the store.
what part of long term bulk purchase do you not understand ??Read the post right above your reply where a member just got 1K primers for under $50. And don’t let Bruno’s fool any of you into thinking he’s paying a high amount for primers and only marking them at a normal margin that results in $140 per K because on top of that Lester also grossly inflated his hazmat shipping charges to reap even further profit. Never have hazmat charges been over $20 anywhere else but at Bruno’s he charges way more than what is required to actually ship the products. Then sometimes he lowers the hazmat fee and calls it a ‘sale’ or ‘promotion’. Total BS!
Very well said Jackie. I remember buying 220 Russian at .027 a case from Haydons and selling it for twice that! Always made me feel like I was helping shooters and never got a complaint about it.I go back pretty far, mostly in Short Range Group Shooting.
Years ago, just when the 6PPC was getting it’s feet wet, there appeared a shortage of brass.
Shooters were willing to pay over $1.00 a case, and that was almost 30 years ago.
Many swore that they would never again do business with two suppliers in particular.
Those two suppliers are still in business today.
What goes around, comes around. Suppliers are in business to make money. I doubt they pay much attention to what others think of them.
So your saying Brunos has to pay 90.00 more a thousand to get primers. I think you dont understandwhat part of long term bulk purchase do you not understand ??
bruno wIll never qualify he is too small, he is NOT WALMART NOR SPORTSMANS
live in your dream world,,,but it is not FACT BASED
You probably believe everything the media tells you too. LOL!what part of long term bulk purchase do you not understand ??

notice how he deflects with an off topic opening. You probably believe everything the media tells you too. LOL!
So you think we have big vendors up here in NW Montana??? We do have a small Cabelas Outpost but my garage is bigger than the one store I mainly go to yet his prices on everything are the best you’ll find anywhere, online or not. Weird that somehow he is still making a profit on everything he sells...He must be lying to me and selling at a loss to be a nice guy right??? LOL!
It’s obvious you have no clue on how any of this works so please stop posting.
probably true....they were buying on a fixed price contract on old pre pandemic criteria. So your saying Brunos has to pay 90.00 more a thousand to get primers. I think you dont understand
LOL! And Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan won’t cost you a dime either! He said it so it must be true!probably true....they were buying on a fixed price contract on old pre pandemic criteria.
lester is PAYING current wholesale....not even close.
I'm not so sure it's ONLY the retailer that's the issue. I'm not bashing one retailer when there all doing the same thing it seems. Has to be more to it than just one company gouging. If that's the case, all the retailers are gouging at this time some just more than others.Yup. No way I'm buying anything from Bruno. They're consistently the most expensive. I don't blame them for being savvy at extracting maximum price from the desperate for as long as they can get away with it but they won't be seeing my business.
