I sold your Dad a scope back in 2021. I found him to be a truly nice and honest man. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have had both of parents in similar situations and totally understand how difficult it is. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all. One thing learned the hard way, is not to get too far "ahead of your skis" - which means don't plan how things will happen, they never do. Don't plan, period. Take things as they come and make decisions as you need to. God's speed! My dad is a member here and may be the only member that uses his real name, Nick Caprinolo as his screen name. Some of you may know him so I thought this should be posted here.
Several months ago he suffered a couple of strokes and has developed post stroke dementia. In addition, he fell a few times and is currently in a rehab center, but not doing very well.
He has not been eating and no matter what we take for him, he doesn't like it. He is getting weaker each day and is unable to do physical therapy.
My step-mother is a champ and visits him every day, but at 83, it is a lot on her too.
To those so inclined, your prayers would be appreciated for them both.
Thank you all.
