Post your most USELESS piece of reloading equipment….

100% invented and made in USA since day one. Cant say the same for the over priced chinesium green box stuff. I can load as straight ammo my Lee seater as with my Wilson. Lee just calls 'em a seating die but the WIlson is the renowned 'chamber' seater! But they are both the same! My bet is Lee invented them.

Another POS is the Lee nylon/plastic $20 powder thrower that is more consistent with stick powder than my $230 Redding BR one!!
Ill take your Redding for 1/3 your cost, since it sucks

I’ll send u 10 Lee’s and a piece of 2x4 to mount them on in a row so u can have a more accurate thrower for each load! That uses stick powder. I’ll keep my Redding for ball powder!

I've avoided responding to this thread until placing some thought into. I have one piece of reloading equipment which I truly despise and Haven't used since the first time.

It is my Redding 2400 case trimmer. It was slow, it was awkward, and it played a real number on my wrist and forearm. I later bought the powered RCBS tri-way unit and Little Crow drill-mounted units.

Have to agree , mine is a great dust catcher sitting on the end of my bench for years...
I'll pile on, here. Except mine was a Lyman case trimmer/neck turner combination deal. I used it once, learned from the experience and set it aside. I wish I had the kind of time using this gizmo required.

Flash hole deburring tool. Not that it doesn't work, but I use Lapua brass in everything, and they don't need it. Other than that, my case tumbler.
I have this tool and I force myself to do it on all my brass because I’m so OCD, but I do a box of 100 pieces and all I have is the tiniest bot of brass flecks on the table. Lol. In fact the amount is generally so little that I just wipe it off the table onto to floor and it leaves no trace. Haha. But yet I keep doing it like a fool.

But then you get that piece of brass that has the flash hole all most closed with carbon. Think that one is going in the group, especially at longer distances. Just might be the difference in attending the match or winning the match. Keep up your good work.

I posted early on but I actually had another worthless piece. Lyman power neck trimmer. It would not stay adjusted, totally worthless, but I got 75.00 for it, lol. I even told the guy why I did not like it.

The problem is here most of the local gun shops closed down.... There's a few a drive away I haven't been to in a long time... One that's local I won't deal with at all.... I need shotgun primers right now but those are impossible to get or they are WAY to expensive.... Shot also has climbed to an all time high of ouch.... Good news is so far with the talk of gun control I am not seeing another round of panic buying....

Edit... I have a few open bottles of powder and with me planning on moving I am actually fixing to load those up.... I hope I still remember how...lol....

Lee disc powder measure. I bought a Lee classic 4 hole press for .357 and 44mag only and it came with the disc dispenser and it leaks about as much as it puts in the case. Before anyone comments about the press, I can honestly say that my pistol shooting is not precise enough to notice.
