Pls any ideas on how to mount a scope on a Feinwerkbau 2600 - Think it has +-12mm dovetails

Hi,

Am looking for viable options to mount a scope on a Feinwerkbau 2600 - Think it has +-12mm dovetails

Would anyone know either 30 mm scope rings, a Picatinny rail or some other adapter to mount a scope on the Feinwerkbau 2600.

Any ideas on where I could get something that would work? One with a 20 MOA option to shoot at 200 yards would be great

Much appreciate and and all advice

Tnx

Most European rifles are 11 mm, never heard of 12 mm. Check Champions Choice web
site for rings/mounts for your rifle. There are lots of good rings in 30mm including Harrells,
which I use and like.

Have you tried calling Champions Choice and asking. They handle Feinwerkbau (both air and smallbore), so they may have an idea.

Good luck,

Dave

Must be good advice, two minds, all that

yes Joe is correct almost always 11mm be sure to double check. If 11 there are lots of options like Talley

rimfire-and-specialty-rings

and area 419

Just to name a couple

There shouldn't be an issue using BKL ring mounts. I use them on my Feinwerkbau 300. Perfect fit, BTW 11mm rails

Thank you and much appreciate the advice.

Here are pics of a possible option on the FWB adapter I found on EBAY and the FWB dovetails

Wow great options there... this may be the ticket... Also I love their pic rail options !

Specially these where I can use pic rings. Looks like this will be the ticket... Iooks it can spread wide enough to fit on the wider FWB dovetails.. I will call them on Monday to verify. Thank you so much.. exactly the option I was looking for

This are my BKL mounts on my Anschutz rail. I have the same model rings on my Feinwerkbau. You can see that BKL has a threaded side to insert a screw maybe even the clamping screw to open up a bit the mount. I hope that picture helps. But a call to BKL will clear up a lot of things most of the time.

What you found are called riser blocks and are used for raising the front and rear metallic sights for better head / eye position.

They are for 11mm dovetails on FWB and many other EU rifles.

Not being certain of your planned use, I would highly recommend the following rail:

The rail will allow extended fore and aft movement of the scope for proper eye relief.

As for rings, I use Kelbly almost exclusively.

Those aren't adaptors for mounting standard rings/sights on the rail. Those are raiser blocks, wedges to lift up the aperture sights: big block under the rearsight, small block under the front. 3P (and prone only) shooters use so they don't strainer cramp their neck to aim.

The BKL dovetail to Weaver adapters (500 series)should work as they can expand the clamping width by removing the clamping screws and screwing them into the provided threaded holes. by tightening the screws they will push the clamping slot further apart and make it wider. I would think making them 1-mm (0.039) wider would be no problem.

BKL rings directly on the 11mm dovetail on my TX200 works fine. Go to the air gun forums with European participation. They are really big into them.

Buy Kelbly RF rings. I have them on my Walther KK300 and my Anschutz 1913. Very reasonable.
Why spend money on a rail?
I like rails for rimfire because they can provide 20 MOA of adjustment to shoot at 200 years and beyond.. also I am too cheap to buy many expensive scopes so I swap out the couple I have from one rifle to the next.... am not like your high dollar guys LOL

High dollar? Kelbly's rings with the 25moa are probably better and maybe cheaper if cheap is part of it.

Those are 30mm.
