Scope mount for 52D

My 52D standard barrel, prone model, presently has a Vianni scope mount, but I've run out of elevation to go beyond about 100 yards. I have a Golden Eagle scope on it. What are my options to get out to 2-300 yards? I don't think Mr Vianni makes them anymore, and the EGW website just shows 0 moa bases. (not willing to drill my gun. Had it since 1962) Any info is appreciated. Thanks........Tommy

SKU 42701 is the EGW 20 MOA base for the 52 Win. Just saw it on their website and have read of other shooters using them.

If you want something in SS or titanium, I would contact Cam Murphy at Murphy Precision and see what he could do. Top notch stuff and a really good guy to boot.

I have the 0 moa EGW on one of my 52D's and didn't care for the scope hanging out like it did so I made a stiffener.

You have the best base made for a 52, this is what I'd use instead of the cantilever mount.

I broke a tap so had to drill another hole.

Same EGW base that fits the Win 52 also fits a Rem 37. I have their 20moa base on my 37 and can easily get my zero out to 200 (with a Weaver T-36). Never worried about a "stiffener" and never had a problem. Not much recoil from a .22lr, nor much flex in a 52 (or 37) action.

Well, turns out my Vianni base is made to Weaver slot specs (not Picatinny, my bad for not measuring), so the XTR rings won't/didn't fit! I see that "regular" Burris Signature rings only have the inserts for a 1" diameter scope, and mine is 30mm, soooooo.......... I have ordered the EGW base. More news later...........
