Pls any ideas on how to mount a scope on a Feinwerkbau 2600 - Think it has +-12mm dovetails

High dollar? Kelbly's rings with the 25moa are probably better and maybe cheaper if cheap is part of it.

Those are 30mm.
Tnx for sharing ... 25 MOA rings are a great option for sure .. for most people.

The rings themselves are not the high dollar part I was referring to ... the expensive scope which goes on these rings for each rifle one owns is the "high dollar" part I was referring to LOL. Many guys I know have a scope on every rifle they own. I personally cannot afford this. Also it takes me very little time to swap out scopes from one pic rail rifle to another and even less time to sight it in. It's a significantly more cumbersome & lengthy to do this on Kelbly or other conventional rings. I only own two nice scopes for long distance & precision shooting and I keep swapping them out to different rifles. This is my primary driver for liking pic rails. Thank you for sharing great advice and all the best :)

Just looked at a Anschutz, Walther KK300, and a CZ457. It appears that I can leave my scope with rings attached and slip them from one to the other. I normally only use one scope and I can check my book and have my scope adjustment on in a jiffy. I understand quality scope prices.
No scope or ring-rail setup even on the same caliber will be on perfectly when you swap them.

Oh, he needs to put a flashlight on it? I'm not familiar with that type shooting.
I think he missed "of" between Form and Prone.

A rail over the action does allow the 'scope to be mounted forwards enough for proper eye relief. When I last had a 'scope on my 1913 it was a challenge, due to the fairly short front receiver ring.

I have six rifles and 2 scopes; 2 benchrest and 4 sporters. All rifles have pic rails. My scopes are in one piece QD rings. It takes a few seconds to remove and re-install. When I have the scopes zeroed for each rifle, I take a photo of the windage and elevation knobs with my phone. When returning to those settings it eliminates bore sighting, and I am usually on zero within 4 to 5 shots.

When I am returning a scope to the same rifle (I keep my scopes stored separately) I am back to zero in one or two clicks...sometimes no correction. I've had no problem with poi shift.

The rings are pretty expensive, but a heckuva lot cheaper than 4 more scopes.

I forgot. I have EGW Picatinny mounts on all my rifles. EGW has 11mm one piece mounts in many variations, and cants. Just measure to make sure your loading port corresponds. I'm using a mount designed for a CZ on my Walther. Works fine.

So, how is it better and more accurate than my method?

Any aigun/rimfire dovetail rings with work UTG rings are fine and only cost less than $15. I've used lots of them on various air rifles and rimfires. Pyramyd Air has them as well as Amazon. They come in low, med, and high as well as 1 inch, 30 and 34 MM. If you lived closer to me, I've got a bunch of them I could part with. Here's a setup i put on an FWB300. It has a dovetail to picatinny adapter that is called a "drooper" mount. It has about a 20 MOA droop. Then some UTG rings. The scope is a Mueller 8-32X44 Target Dot. I use this to shoot in the 25M springer class.
