My new reloading room

We purchased a new home in May of last year and I am lucky enough to have my own man cave now which will have a kitchen/bar, my pool room, and my reloading room. I didn't really start unpacking all the reloading equipment and components from the move until mid Fall last year and I have been slowly getting some new benches set up the way I want them. I originally wanted to do custom build ins for benches/cabinets for the reloading area, but this area in the basement, if absolutely needed, could become a temporary apartment for one of my wife's elderly parents if the situation arose so I opted for movable benches/work spaces. The other side of the room not in the pic is already plumbed and wired for another kitchen area so it will soon become my bar area more or less. The other 1/2 of the big room is already set up as my pool room. I should have the cabinets for the kitchen/bar and the rest of the floors installed in the kitchen/bar and my reloading area within a month, I just have to wait for my contractor to finish up a job he's on right now (he says about 2 weeks) and we'll set cabinets and finish the flooring together in just a couple days. I hope y'all like my happy place!

Over the top. Gold metal winner. I am ashamed to show my small work area but it works.

not the first time I've seen a pool table used as workspace in a man cave. My good buddy in WA cut/put a piece of plywood over his to protect the felt, knowing its days as a game table were in the past and flat space was more important.
Ditto on the plywood over the pool table. I hadn't seen my pool table top in about 3 years. No gun projects going on this winter so I cleaned everything off and removed the plywood a couple of months ago. Felt good to be able to play some pool during the cold weather.

You sir are not a real shooter/gun guy! Far to neat and clean and organized.
Been in about 40 to 50 different people's gun and reloading rooms and
none are even close to this nice. Seriously it is really nice
I decided to revisit this post about a year later.

I have a tad bit of OCD I think, so neat, clean and organized is all I can stand.

Here's what it looks like now that I have all the floors in and I have settled on the final locations of benches, etc.

That is awesome! I remember when I started reloading 45 years ago I had all my gear in one cardboard box. A couple Lee handloaders, a few bullets, primers, a small scale, and some hand tools - we have come a long way.

I have 3 reloading rooms, one has 2 lathes and a Bridgeport milling machine...the others more conventional...but my first reaction to the pics is how tidy!
Mine are cluttered with stuff, from metal chips to cutting oil, homemade dies to tool holders, take off barrels to used barrels, inspection equipment to diamond grinder...4 long tools boxes and 3 top boxes, and shelves , stuffed with tools and one with AR parts...but it's also a reloading room. 6 reloading presses with quick mounts, for 2 at a time on the Bridgeport mill table...totally adjustable for height...with electronic powder measure...plus two more Dillons in the conventional reloading rooms.
Loading multiple calibers at a time on different progressives...plus a few single stage reloaders...not a place of comfort or visiting, neither have a place to sit down. They are reloading and gun building areas...for workin in. Visitors don't stay longer than 15 minutes and usually much less, or I quit what I'm doing and head to a visiting area.
No alcohol or food consumed here, with few interruptions, no phones, no pets, no people, these are woring areas.
I seperate the visiting from the work.

Just a suggestion, don't leave that rifle on the pool table under that light for any length of time. I had a friend that did that and it faded the side of the stock toward the light to the point that it ruined the finish.
