My new reloading room

We purchased a new home in May of last year and I am lucky enough to have my own man cave now which will have a kitchen/bar, my pool room, and my reloading room. I didn't really start unpacking all the reloading equipment and components from the move until mid Fall last year and I have been slowly getting some new benches set up the way I want them. I originally wanted to do custom build ins for benches/cabinets for the reloading area, but this area in the basement, if absolutely needed, could become a temporary apartment for one of my wife's elderly parents if the situation arose so I opted for movable benches/work spaces. The other side of the room not in the pic is already plumbed and wired for another kitchen area so it will soon become my bar area more or less. The other 1/2 of the big room is already set up as my pool room. I should have the cabinets for the kitchen/bar and the rest of the floors installed in the kitchen/bar and my reloading area within a month, I just have to wait for my contractor to finish up a job he's on right now (he says about 2 weeks) and we'll set cabinets and finish the flooring together in just a couple days. I hope y'all like my happy place!

Nice! I’m stuck in a corner of the garage. My wife is itching to leave Alaska for a warmer area. I told her if we move I have to have a room in the house with climate control for my reloading stuff. I’m not too worried, we have at least 5 more years here due to her business and tax issues. My job went remote so I can move just about anywhere.

We are in in the process of moving, I get to go from a 6 x 12 space to the whole basement, including a 12 x 18 secure room for my toys. The next 6 months will be spent organizing 42 years of clutter.

not the first time I've seen a pool table used as workspace in a man cave. My good buddy in WA cut/put a piece of plywood over his to protect the felt, knowing its days as a game table were in the past and flat space was more important.

Very nice - a reloader's dream "man cave".

I often dreamt about having everything in one place, i.e., my workshop, reloading table, and cleaning setup but it never happened.

I did manage to get my reloading table move out of the basement which was cold and damp which is obviously not a good place for reloading. But my workshop and gun cleaning setup are still in the dreaded dungeon basement.

I do have a heavy vinyl pool table cover I usually cover the top of the pool table with, but I didn't have it on at the time of that pic. It is handy to have a nice big flat space for laying stuff out for sure.
