I’d be privileged to see some pictures of the rifle Sir.A 30 inch 1.450 weighs around 10 pounds, I believe. Add an action, a block, scope and You are close to 16 pounds. Stocks are usually 6 inches wide up front and 2 inches in the rear. They are usually longer, like 38 inches. Now add rails, front and rear and it starts to add up.
A few are fiberglass and some are wood and they usually add weight. Mine is a 6 inch by 2 inch thick plank of aluminum with a butt piece bolted on. It weighs 65 pounds. Matt
