When I left Camp Pendleton in 1998 the last thing i did before I crossed into Arizona on my way back to Texas on I8 was to pull over piss on the side of the road. That way I can say the last thing I did before I left California was to piss on it. I swore I would never set foot back in that state again. And still have no intention what so ever of going back.

Its the majority of the general public that allows this crap to go on. I keep waiting for THE BIG ONE to hit and all of Southern California falls off into the Pacific Ocean, starting just North of San Francisco around Marin County, where women are women and so are some of the men. Got my fingers crossed. It could Happen?? Maybe Sacramento will be included in the land shift?
Most of the good folks (consevative and hard working gun lovers) live in the central Valley. And I would guess that most of them are tired of the Liberal politics.

The ban is comming and I've heard mention of not being able to get components either as well as a ban on and qty of ammo or powder. I don't blame midway USA. But as of the last year or two their prices have been high and no discounts apply to sale items. I found my self buying from brownells last Xmas season. Their specials couldn't be beat. Midway has lost my business for the most part because of their own business practices. The only gun company I know of that helped to cause problems for shooters/hunters in ca is Barnes bullets, they lied at a ca hearing for the lead bullet ban just for self promotion.
In favor of the ban that is.

I don't know why the good people of California don't rise up and commit to Jihad against the tyrannical idiocracy they are forced to live with. Between the self proclaimed genius's from Hollywood, illegals and sexual deviants the state is suffering terribly. It is a shame to see such a wonderful state turned into an incubator for Marxism.

It is not the only place though. Many of our states suffer from progressive liberal ideology. It sounds soo good and is easy to fall into the trap. Gingrich's old district in Georgia is currently being successfully wooed by a crony liberal that doesn't even live there.

We are far from being out of the woods as a country. We just got a short reprieve from the invasion. Lunacy will never stand down.

The great tragedy is that the vast majority of California, the Eastern and Northern area, is beautiful wild country populated largely by farming and ranching people, and folks who love the freedom of living in the boonies and small towns. They are primarily conservative pro-gun voters, and hold no truck with the nut-job libtards who live like crap house rats in the cities and coastal regions.

These poor folks have to live by the laws passed in hugely populated areas, by people who have no grasp of reality except that which exists in San Francisco, Xanadu, and Wonderland. Eastern Oregon, and Eastern Washington are in great danger of going down the same path. jd
