California Legislature approves new tax for guns and ammo

Probably by the acts that the forum boss stated.
I just never understood why my crooked politicians can’t be better crooks than theirs.
I can't believe anyone could think it's a wash? Their is no better, they work together to make you think there is a difference, a crook is a crook!

Lake County, where the TOOTH BRUSH was invented!! More drugs than most Pharmacies can keep on the shelf. Lower population count lets the low lives get by with a LOT of things. Out of sight, out of mind.:oops:
Yep, that is exactly what people have been telling me for the past 24 years that I have owned the property.

But the funny thing is that I have never seen those type of people there. In fact, my property is inside a peninsula, Buckingham Park, and for the most part there are a lot of people like me, who have another home somewhere else in NorCal.

I hear there are bad areas over in Clearlake and along the north coast, but I don't go over there. I go up 101 through Napa/Sonoma and over 175 to Kelseyville.

Here's another funny thing...Lake County is the poorest county in California, and I live in Santa Clara, possibly one of the wealthiest...IMO, taxes are a pretty darn good deal!

I'm grateful to live in a much smaller and more peaceful state...that has a 0% tax on firearms and ammunition.Because the current governor has saved the state enough money that we can get along without such a tax.
Not only that, we pay less than $300 on 25 acres up on Middle mountain. That’s per year! Go Vikings!

Quote: California lawmakers on Thursday voted to raise taxes on guns and ammunition to pay for security improvements at public schools and gun violence prevention programs.

Bullcrap. That money, much like the Abalone tag fees, will go straight into the general fund to pay for crap like the water tunnel to ship water to SoCal and the (now largely defunct) high speed rail system.

People need to understand that the Democrats have changed the election process in California with mail in ballots for everything. There is clear, legally established evidence of millions of false or expired registrations in large blue counties. In addition, there have been suspiciously high turnouts (85+ %) in some counties in recent elections — numbers unlike any other states. That suggests massive voter fraud. In my own case I went to vote at my polling place and was informed that my registration had been changed by mail to Democrat and I had already voted by mail — clear fraud by a third party. I filed an affidavit to reverse the change.

I just say this because I think California might change if we had truly fair elections.
The old story: My grandmother voted republican until the day she died. She's voted democrat every since.

Remember you get who you vote for. CA is a beautiful state and a shame for this. I am a Texas boy but how long before we become CA central?

and that's like the $$$$ spent on the California Lottery $$$ was for the schools?
So, THAT'S why the California education system sucks??? Got it.
POLITICS as usual. Social Security fund? Couldn't have all those extra $$$$ just sitting there. Move the $$$$ over to the General Fund and put IOU's in their place. More $$$$ to piss away.:mad:
