For those shooters who were wondering, yes it did snow. And those 15 brave souls who showed up, did indeed have a 3 x 600 rifle match. Thanks to those who attended and I will have the final match results posted in a couple of days..........................Tim

Was a beautiful day for shooting, the winds were mild but present and readable. Just enough to help you shoot those nines if you weren't paying attention. Congratulations to our high shooters for the day, Aubrey Brock (Prone 598-32X) Brad Plant ( F-Open 598-39X) and Phillip Matthews (F-T/R 582-21X).
Attached are the match results for the day. Special thanks goes out to Glen Gordon who was behind the scenes on saturday making sure things ran smoothly. Hope your are able to make our next scheduled events. Which will be this coming saturday and sunday at AEDC (Tullahoma TN). Saturday the 15th will be a 3 x 600 and Sunday will be a 3 x 1000. Get it on your calendar and just do it ! Tim Kreier MidSouth Marksmen

PS: Who is the old guy in the maroon shooting coat ? I didn't know dinosaurs could shoot.

Does anyone have a phone number for the match director? I am wanting to shoot the mid range tomorrow and need some info

His email is listed on the Midsouth marksman webpage under the ADEC event. Or post it up maybe one of us can answer. I am already here in a local hotel for the event

I missed Saturday for our family Easter dinner but got go shoot the 3x1000 Sunday. I should have skipped the dinner and shot 600 :) Beautiful day but the wind was crazy unpredictable until the last couple relays of the day, and even then it appeared to be fist tailing. No one was spared. Humbling for sure. For a non-ORSA match, this was tough.

Was a great easter weekend to get together and have a mid range rifle match. The turnout saturday reflected that. Was warm in the mid 80's with the sun out in force, baking those who chose to go unprotected. The wind was challenging at times and the overall scores reflect that for the day's event. Attached please find saturday's scores and a big thanks ! to those who attended.

Lots of fun Easter Sunday or maybe just a fine and pleasant misery. Lots of shared misery with some very good shooters! Thanks Tim K. and John V. for another very well run match under trying conditions!

Attached are the results from Sunday's 3 x 1000 at AEDC. The wind conditions were the worst I have seen at AEDC in years. The majority of us mere mortals had a rough go if it. For once, I think the smart ones stayed home with the easter bunny. Hope to see everyone at our next matches, which will be a 3 x 600 at Henry Co on the 13th of May and a 3 x 1000 on the 14th at AEDC. Thanks..................................Tim/John MidSouth Marksmen

Just a friendly heads up. This saturday the 13th we will be having a 3x600 at Henry Co Gun club. This should be great practice for the upcoming regional at AEDC on the 27/28th. The following day (sunday the 14th) we will be back at AEDC running a 3x1000 match. Hope to see you at one of these events, please come out and join us and bring a friend. As always juniors shoot free ......................... Tim/John MidSouth Marksmen

Henry County Gun Club is a great place to shoot, if you have not shot there you really need to make a match, great carriers, good people and a covered firing line with concrete pad.

I can't shoot at Henry County on Saturday, but the weather is looking good for Sunday at AEDC. It should be a great match.
