Labs really are the best! The chocolate is our 9 year old lab Rika (short for Paprika), and the little yellow squirt just joined us last week, she’s Cara, short for Caraway. They represent the 5th and 6th labs we’ve had since my wife and I were dating. They also carry on the tradition of all our girls being named after spices. Rika only hunts softer spots to lay, but little Cara has quite a nose and interest in birds already.
You would love a pet groundhog. I had one when I was a kid house broke would sleep in the bed with you. But would steal all your cloths and drag them under the furniture.i miss whistle Pete. Ever get a chance your wife would fall in love with one. Just a big soft living pillow lolThe only thing better than a good dog is a good wife.and maybe a reliable rifle that shoots straight.
PS: Had four in my life time - all great companions. Would love to have a pet ground hog but wifey over ruled me.![]()
Wow, that would be interesting. However, if I ever had one, that would probably end my varmint hunting for sure. You would love a pet groundhog. That pup will be forever grateful and return the love 10 times over. Our daughter drives for FED-X and found this little (3.5 lb) guy out in the middle of no where. Figured someone dumped him or puppy mill escapee. She took him to vet and wasn’t chipped and vet thinks he’s 6 or 7 years old. She ended up keeping him and named Houdini. He’s so tiny he’s a cutie
