Matt, while I can't disagree with your post, I am not familiar with the PSL/NRL rules, which I presume this rifle was built for. This is not really a 'benchrest only sub-forum', but still at 50yds, I see nothing positive about the target posted even for the aforementioned disciplines. You need to have the proper means of propulsion before you can test ammo in that rifle. You need a rear bag to rest the butt plate on. The rifle MUST be as completely motionless as possible. You will never obtain great results by attempting to hold it. Your target demonstrates your problem. All of the 'groups' are buckshot groups. Until you get the scope raised and obtaining rear sandbag, you will never realize success.
Being a cut rifled barrel which I doubt is tapered lapped, I can agree. If it was a button rifled barrel that was tapered lapped, most would say your post is completely false. In fact, I know it would be false. Most would tell you not to bother lot testing until you have had 500 or more rounds down the barrel.
S&sprecicion TX chambered his own barrel.Try Lapua ammo. Vudoo supposedly chambers their barrels for Lapua ammunition.
