That is great to hear about returning directly to the owner.Hi-NV, we're working with shippers to offer a program where the customer doesn't have to go through an FFL. I expect it will come to pass once we get some details worked out.
We're calling this our Valet Shipping. You'll be able to go to our website, check the price, and choose this option if you'd like. We'll ship a case to you along with the shipping label, bubble wrap, even tape for the box. You put your gun in, attach the label, and put it in the hands of FedEx anywhere. When we're finished, we'll ship the rifle directly back to you.
Even though I am only 5 hours away from Mesa I don’t have the time to goLee ,
That does throw a little thorn in my side with the other . I would be shipping in VA and receiving in Florida just additional cost on my end plus additional time . I'm on the other manufacturer list but I would like to broaden my possibilities with John as well .
That would be a big plus if you can do live online testing. in this modern day of Zoom and Facetime it will take testing to the next level. and if it is recorded the owner of the rifle will have that as proof on how it shot.JW, yes we plan to test barreled actions as well. We have quite a number of fixtures to hold the different actions. With having a machine shop in house, we shouldn't have any big problem making something new when needed either.
Lee, thanks for the suggestion about testing through Facetime or Zoom or similar. We have discussed this and it's something we want to offer. We have plenty of work to do ahead of us, but that's also an item we're working on.
Big difference between FedEx and UPS is FEDEX is almost always an independently owned and operated company under the FEDEX banner. UPS is completely corporate owned and run using Teamsters labor and drivers.Well, I was really excited, until the FedEx transport entered the conversation. I've had nothing but mis-delivered packages, and late packages that actually did make it to my address, from them. UPS has been nothing short of perfect, thus far, for years in this area of the state. (TN)
Would definitely be worth it to plan a day trip I'm thinking.Road trip

Sorry if I'm taking this thread off topic, but didn't KSS already do testing? If there's another thread detailing this feel free to reference it.Now owned by eley and still selling ammo/accessories.
