Loading Federal primers

I used a Lee primer (old design) for years till I wore it out, so I purchased a "new and improved " version. Lee must have hired the same moron that designed the boxes for the Federal primers. What a POS.

Can you expound on making this 1/4" slot

Slot? With a square and pencil divide the sleeve into 4 sections, after dividing the sleeve into 4 sections (equal squares) use a razor, cutter etc. to remove one of the squares. And then reinstall the sleeve to remove 25 primers. When not in use turn the sleeve over or save it for the next tray.

I do believe Federal made the large tray to give Lee something to complain about. After all of these years Lee reloaders are driven to the curb with the large box.
