It's that time of year. Let's see those kills.

I’m on the edge of my seat now, that was just a warning shot! Go get him man! Throwing sticks at them takes a diligent person but the rewards are great!
Mike I'm trying like hell.
Quivers are loaded, knee brace is lubed. Going out with my nephew in the morning to a spot that holds a lot of big deer. Its land locked BLM about a mile and half in to the oak flats.

I shot this dink bull at 626yds with my suppressed 300wsm on my non-resident tag. It was a terrible pack out. My buddy and I took the whole thing out in 1 trip but it took about 4+ hours of 45 degree up hill hiking. Then overnight a fox decided to steal my tenderloins and drag off the back straps. I saw him coming for more meat when I went to check on the meat the next morning and noticed what he had done. He paid the price for that one. I dug out my kids .22 and smacked him before we left to go hunting the next morning. The bull died just over the top of the green tree to the left of the burnt snag in the middle of the picture.

33150.jpeg that smile says it all might not be the biggest deer but it's my grandson's first and he insisted on doing everything himself from finding the spot for his blind to gutting it couldn't be prouder. He just got it a few hours ago
Edit to say just got the details 20 yards away when he shot. Heart and lung shot it ran 20 yards and fell over.
Proud grandpa just bragging.
Really sucks wasn't there I should be hunting with him but I had to work in Wisconsin

It's that time of year again. Let's see those big and small game kills of the '18-19 season.

First one of the year for me, not a trophy, a doe with the muzzleloader. Will yield some nice roasts, chip steak and lebanon bologna. :)
My favorite kill this your. I was after a couple of raccoons getting into my bird feeder at night time. I found out that the Dog Proof traps are not chipmunk proof.

I knew his antlers weren’t the biggest of any deer I’d killed, but there was something about him I liked. Took the head in to get a CWD sample and the biologist says “man he’s old”. Aged him at 8.5yrs.
